Vacations are always fun. Enjoying the outdoors, sightseeing & spending the days & nights the way you really want to. At times, in the middle of all this activity, you just need to sit back, take it easy & recharge your batteries for more strenuous tasks. Games, be they board games, card games or trivia games, really come in handy at such times. Not only can they be loads of fun in a group of friends or with the family, but they also help you kill some extra time on your hand.

Board games, card games & trivia games are especially popular as travel games. Here are the best 6 games for traveling:

Connect Four6/ Connect 4 is a very simple game, may be enjoyed more by kids than adults, but if you like your tick tack toe, you will enjoy this as well. It passes the no-brainer test, so comes as a recommended option.

Ludo5/ Ludo, Sorry! Parcheesi, are all variations of the same board game. It is a very enjoyable game for both adults and kids. Once you start killing your opponent?s pieces, it?s hard to give up the habit. Requires bare minimum brains & provides hours of fun.

UNO4/Cards are always a favourite pass time, with friends or family. One simple deck can provide hours of fun & you can play so many different games as well like crazy eight, black maid, rummy, bridge etc.
UNO as becoming quiet a popular game in this genre as well.

Backgammon3/Backgammon is more luck less skill, or you can say a stress free mix of both. Something more in line with the spirit of travel & vacations.

Chess2/ If you want to keep your brain in good functioning condition during your travels, then go for this brainy game. Maybe more for the oldies, but chess is always a real mind game. Thinking 5 moves ahead, sometimes 10 moves, and it can be exhausting but most thinkers love it.

Scabble1/ Scrabble has been an all time favourite with people young and old. Its also a good way of showing-off your brilliant vocabulary, especially when looking to score some points with a special someone.

If nothing else, you can always come up with your own trivia games, something as basic as hang man or ?I spy? can really make your trip memorable on family trips.

I dunno, I guess I’m probably alone in this, but I still love to play Connect 4! It just holds so many fond memories for me, and is, in my opinion, one of the funnest 2 player games around. :)
