Spectacular pictures, the first, the Utah arch being my pick. Other favorites of mine include Les Calanques in Corsica, and the Old Man of Hoy in the Shetland Isles, both completely amazing.

Utah has some of the strangest, vibrant desert terrain I’ve ever known.

you should look into the Bisti Wilderness in new mexico. scads of lumpy rock formations in the middle of the desert. my favorite place on earth. pictures don’t translate that well. down the road from the De-na-zin Wilderness (better known, but not quite as cool).

NIce but that is not “The Pinnacles” of Western Australia but rather a photo of the The Pinnacles on Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia.
The Pinnacles you talk of look like this.
