The Green Magic Treehouses are located in India, with each house being located 90 feet up a tree. To make it even better, the trees are located in a tropical rainforest and each house still offers running water, telephones, and private baths.

12. Gamirasu Cave Hotel

Gamirasu Cave Hotel, which is located in Turkey, is really nothing more than a cave located inside a volcanic rock. Thanks to the natural properties of the volcanic rock, it stays a constant 63 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inside of the cave all year round.

13. Alton Towers Hotel

Alton Towers is located in England and is the most famous theme park in the country. Here, you can enjoy riding on 3 different water rides and 8 roller coasters. You can also choose to stay in one of the many themed hotel suites, including those with an Arabian nights theme, a Peter Rabbit theme, and even Two Chocolate suites.

Hotel Fox, which was created by Volkswagen, is located in Denmark. The 61 rooms in the hotel were created by 21 different artists that were commissioned to complete the job. While the rooms aren’t necessarily themed, they do have a very artistic appeal.

Kate’s Lazy Meadow Motel is located in New York and was created by Kate Pierson from the band B-52’s. The motel is located on nine acres of beautiful land and the motel itself offers a very quirky décor that takes inspiration from the 50s while still having modern features.

19. Woodlyn Park

The Woodlyn Park Motels, which are located in New Zealand, have three different lodging choices. Here, you can either stay in a 1950s railcar, a Bristol Fighter plan, or in the Hobbit Motel that is designed to look like a hobbit hole and is built in the side of a mountain.

20. Helga’s Folly

Helga’s Folly, which used to be called Hotel Chalet, is located in Sri Lanka and offers 40 rooms for guests to stay in. This hotel has been in Helga’s family ever since the 1930s and contains ancient statues, Buddhist relics, and shrines as well as modern fixtures.

The Fur n’ Feathers Rainforest Tree Houses are located in Australia within 100 acres of endangered rainforest. Here, you can stay in a luxurious and secluded pole house that overlooks the Ithaca River.
