The only restriction is that photography in the town is not allowed unless you have permission from your photography subjects in advance.

La Voile Rouge, France
Located on the Southern Riviera, La Voile Rouge in St. Tropez, France is a popular spot for the elite and those who seek topless sunbathing. Clothing on this beach is optional, and it isn?t uncommon for the partial nudity to carry over into the area businesses. It is normal for the topless sunbathers to be found throughout town, so acting surprised or astounded is considered poor manners.

Lady Bay, Australia
Lady Bay in Sydney, Australia still allows nudity despite a change of law in 1993 that banned nudity in public places. The local council allowed the beach to post signs stating it was a clothing optional beach allowing nudists to continue visiting this quiet cove. Less than ten miles from Watson?s Bay, Lady Bay is accessible from a path behind the military reserve. Great fishing location as well. Red Beach, Crete
Red Beach in Crete is one of the world?s most popular nude beaches. While the beach is clothing option, the nudists tend to converge on the northern end of the beach where rocks are plentiful. The sand can be rather warm in this sunny area, so if you are planning to lie on the sand, you will need a couple layers of towels or blankets to keep from burning.

Santa Maria Beach, Italy
Santa Maria Beach in Forte dei Marmi is one of the most highly regarded topless beaches in all of Italy. Lined with pine groves, Santa Maria Beach offers sunny days and villas tucked into the pine forests for privacy. The oldest beach resort town in Italy, Forte dei Marmi also offers incredible open-air markets where designer clothing is sold at a huge discount.
