It is a very walkable city and some great tours. Nows a great time to visit too...with Mardi Gras parades starting on February 7th and lasting til Feburary 24th. I like to get out of the city too and do swamp tours. Those are fun for all ages, and really interesting...not many cities can tote you a few minutes just outside of the glitz and glamour to see alligators and other wildlife.
