Danny Meyer made a huge impact on the restaurant circuit in NYC with the opening of several hot restaurants, including Gramercy Tavern and The Modern. His fast food outpost, the Shake Shack, sits in Madison Square Park and features The ShackBurger and old fashioned chocolate and peanut butter shakes.

Iron Chef Bobby Flay has a special place in his heart for traditional hamburgers and French fries. His fast food establishment, Bobby’s Burger Palace, can be found in several small New York and New Jersey towns. Most of his burger joints are located near malls and feature menus with almost a dozen different burger varieties.

Chef Guy Martin was single-handedly credited with the resurrection of the fabulous Le Grand Vefour restaurant. He has since gone on to open his own upscale sandwich shop complete with specialty salads, warps, and baguettes. Miyou is an excellent destination for vegetarian diners.

Paul Bocuse is a world renowned chef, most notable for his achievements at his famous restaurant L’Auberge du Pont de Collonges in France. At the young age of 82, Bocuse decided to open Ouest Express – a delightful establishment serving breads, cheese, sandwiches, French fries, coffee, and much more.

The chef at Frontera Fresco, Rick Bayless, started out by bringing southern cooking to Chicago restaurants. He then went on to create Frontera Fresco, a mid-range eatery specializing in Mexican street cuisine. Make sure you try the tacos, huaraches, and Mexican beer while you’re there. The restaurants are located in several cities throughout Illinois and California.
5. Wolfgang Puck Express – United States
Wolfgang Puck is well known as the owner and creator of more than 20 different restaurants, cookbooks, and franchise in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas areas. In Wolfgang Puck Express he’s happy to serve jazzed-up comfort foods like gourmet mac-and-cheese and smoked salmon thin-crust pizza. This particular fast food chain has more than 35 locations throughout the United States.

Gordon Ramsay owns over 15 fine dining establishments so we weren’t surprised to find out he took a step back to create something a little less serious. His Gordon Ramsay Plane Food, located in London, is a pub style atmosphere serving traditional pub fare. Located in the Heathrow Airport, the restaurant also offers “plane picnics” for diners to take on their flights.

Heston Blumenthal is proud of the three Michelin stars his Fat Duck restaurant earned but he’s just as proud of Little Chef, a restaurant that hired him to overhaul their menu. Now the restaurant features low-sodium pork sausage, eggs, black pudding, and delicious baked beans.

Anita Lo, the chef and owner of Rickshaw Dumplings, worked at several famous New York Restaurants before opening her own establishments. Her fast food restaurant, Richshaw Dumplings, serves a wide variety of dumplings filled with all types of tasty treats including Thai Basil, chocolate, and Peking duck. Make sure you try a green tea milkshake while you’re there, too.

Ferran Adria’s El ZBulli is one of the hottest restaurants in Spain but you’ll have an easier time finding a seat in his fast food chain Fast Good. On the menu you’ll find gourmet food options including fries cooked in olive oil, Serrano ham, fig smoothies, and burgers topped with arugula and Gorgonzola. Yum!
