2. Travel somewhere you have never been before. Getting out of your comfort zone can be just the change in you need. There is sure to be somewhere beautiful you have never been before that is just perfect for your dream Christmas break. If you live in the Southern Hemisphere you might enjoy a white Christmas for a change. You may be interested in building snowmen in Lapland, ice skating in New York or enjoying a warm beer in London for example. On the other hand, if you are from the Northern Hemisphere, you might enjoy a summer Christmas building sandcastles on the beach and enjoying seafood or a barbecue for Christmas lunch.

3. Take a break. No cooking, no cleaning and no organising equals no stress. Just concentrate on the present and enjoy the moment. Whether this means taking a long walk through the forest or laying on the beach. Take time for yourself to unwind and avoid the urge to get wrapped up in a Christmas shopping frenzy. This year buy your presents in advance.

  1. James Mann says on

Christmas travel is not on the schedule for this year, just too many things to do.

I know I am going to want to be sitting on that beach but maybe next year, just not this Christmas.

The images you have are breath taking. I can see why one would want to travel at Christmas time.

Once my wife and I have retired, just 4 more years to go, we can start traveling any time we want. I can hardly wait.
